Jeff Williams, Vice President North America Sales, Ironport (a Cisco Company)
Jeff Williams' responsibilities include leading IronPort's North America sales, systems
engineering, channels, renewals and operational support teams. Under his leadership, IronPort's
business has experienced an impressive 135% compound annual growth rate and was recently acquired
by Cisco (CSCO) for 830M. Before joining IronPort, Williams was Vice President of Sales at IntruVert
Networks (acquired by Network Associates), VP of Sales of Abeona Networks (a Kleiner Perkins and
Sequoia Capital funded company), and GlobalCenter, where he led the sales organization through
its $6.5 billion merger with Exodus Communications. He holds a B.S. degree in Marketing from
California State University at Chico.
R. Bruce Stewart, Chief Executive
Officer and Chairman of the Board, Arrowhead Research Corporation
A life-long entrepreneur, Bruce Stewart has started and funded more than 18
companies and has taken several of them public. His capital market experience
spans thirty years, having raised substantial capital for both public and
private companies. Bruce is well known for his success in building value for
shareholders and innovating novel strategies in corporate finance. Early in
2003, Bruce brought the sum of his knowledge and experience to the field of
nanotechnology. In forming Arrowhead Research (Nasdaq: ARWR), he has combined
his access to capital and his talent for finding early-stage technology with
commercial potential with the belief that the path to the future goes through
nanotech. In the short time Arrowhead Research has been operating, Bruce’s
vision has resulted in a well-financed company partnered with some of the most
respected minds in the field. Prior to founding Arrowhead Research, Bruce
founded Acacia Research Corporation (Nasdaq:ACTG) which he took public in
1995. During Bruce’s eight-year tenure, Acacia built a portfolio of subsidiary
companies operating in the areas of biotechnology, media technology licensing,
direct marketing and early internet applications and reached a market cap of
nearly $1 billion. Bruce gained much of his knowledge and experience in
corporate finance as President of Annandale Securities, an investment banking
firm and registered broker dealer.
Matt Kestian, Technical Director for Microsoft's Technology Team and the
Microsoft Technology Center
Matt manages the MTC in Irvine and delivers engagements around infrastructure,
operations and security. He has more than 11 years of IT experience focusing on
secure infrastructures and operations. Kestian joined Microsoft in January 2000
as a consultant on the E-Commerce team focused on infrastructure, operations and
security. At the MTC, Kestian is responsible for driving the Security Practice
nationally. He is a member of Microsoft's Security Content Review Board and has
reviewed many of Microsoft's most acknowledged security guidance including
Windows 2003 Security Guide (IPSec) and The Administrator Accounts Security
Planning Guide. Kestian holds a CISSP, a B.S. in Economics and an M.S. in
Applied Computer Science from Illinois State University (ISU). Kestian is an
active participant on the United States Secret Service, Chicago Electronic
Crimes Task Force (CECTF) and the Information Systems Security Association
(ISSA).
Jeff Dickerson, Chief Executive Officer, Metatomix
Jeff is responsible for the strategic direction and continued growth of
Metatomix, the leading provider of integrated justice solutions to state
and local governments. He has more than 20 years of executive experience at
various technology companies, including senior management positions with MCK
Communications, VMARK Software, Parametric Technology (PTC), and Prime Computer.
Robert Denton, Former Senior Vice President, Global Private Client Group,
Morgan Stanley
Robert currently is a full-time financial advisor for high net worth clients,
Denton was most recently the head of the Morgan Stanley Rancho Santa Fe Branch,
managing 45 people and $6 billion in client assets. He was previously a branch
manager and account executive with Dean Witter, managing $100 million in client
assets from 1975 to 2006. Denton holds advanced degrees from Emory University
and served two tours of duty as a junior officer in Vietnam. He is listed in
"Who's Who in Finance," serves on several charity boards, and is a board member
for Selective Service, North San Diego County.
